This feature film is the second by the filmmaker after Journey to a Mother's Room. Celia Rico has María Vázquez and Adriana Ozores as protagonists along with Aimar Vega. Los pequeños amores is shot for 6 weeks in locations in Barcelona, Begues, L'Ametlla de Merola, Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, Olesa de Bonesvalls, La Granada del Penedès, Navarcles and Madrid.

Teresa (María Vázquez), 42, changes her vacation plans to spend the summer with Ani, her mother (Adriana Ozores). Living day and night after so many years is not easy for them. They are used to living alone, so it is difficult for them to agree on even small things.

However, the forced coexistence will also bring revealing moments for both.

The film is a production of Arcadia Motion Pictures and Vivacocha Films AIE in co-production with the French company Noodles Production. The film will be in theaters in 2023.
