THE 8TH EDITION OF THE PANTALLA BARCELONA OPEN AIR IS HERE

The Barcelona Institute of Culture wants to bring cinema closer to citizens with a new summer edition of the Pantalla Barcelona circuit in the network of civic centers in the city. The third summer edition of the cycle.

The eighth edition will take place from June 28 to July 26, 2022, on the screens of the civic centers La Sagrera "La Barraca", Can Clariana Cultural, Sant Martí, Ateneu Fort Pienc, Pati Limona, Josep Maria Trias i Peitx, Can Basté, La Sedeta, Vil·la Florida, Zona Nord and Casa Groga.

This summer Pantalla Barcelona will offer 41 screenings of 6 films. The movies have a strong female presence behind the cameras. All of them deal with various social issues in their films. They also deal with such a hot topic as the consequences of wars. We will see Libertad, by Clara Roquet, The Odd-Job Men, by Neus Ballús, and Girlfriends, by Carol Rodríguez Colás, all three movies shot in Barcelona. And Mediterraneo: The Law of the Sea, by Marcel Barrena, Josep, by Aurel, and The Mole Agent, by Maite Alberdi.
