The Ateneu Popular 9 Barris is a public socio-cultural center that operates according to the community management model; which was born from the occupation of the neighborhood in 1977 of an asphalt plant that was built between the neighborhoods of Roquetes and Trinitat Nova.

It has 3 large spaces:

• A circus theater with a large stage and a grandstand with a capacity for 300 people.
• A circus training gym.
• A local bar-restaurant. Anti-fascist aesthetics, red and black and graffiti predominate.
