Cesc Gay shoots 'Sentimental' in Barcelona

A new comedy by the Barcelona director
Cesc Gay is filming his new comedy in our city. The protagonists of Sentimental are Javier Cámara, Griselda Siciliani, Belén Cuesta and Alberto San Juan. Sentimental is the film adaptation of the theater play The Neighbors Above. This play was the debut by Cesc Gay and premiered in Barcelona in 2015.
Sentimental explains the story of two couples of neighbors. They are going to live an evening that could be cathartic. Julio and Ana have been together for more than 15 years. They don't look or touch each other; the daily combat is their modus operandi. Salva and Laura are younger and very friendly. They have welcomed them with a lot of kindness. However, they make too much noise, according to Julio and Ana. Tonight, they will meet and anything can happen.
The film is a co-production of Imposible Films with Sentimentalfilm AIE, and with the participation of TV3, TVE and Movistar +. The premiere in theaters will be this year.
