More than 90 films committed to human rights

The Cinema and Human Rights Festival celebrates its 16th edition from November 14th to 25th at the Texas Cinemas, the Filmoteca de Catalunya and CineBaix in Sant Feliu. The festival will also include masterclasses, screenings of films at universities and penitentiary centres, performances at art galleries and round tables in the International Human Rights Forum.

This edition’s guests are activist Oleg Sentsov, Chinese dissident Badiucao or director Clemente Bernad. The inauguration is on November 14 with China’s Artful Dissident. The Filmoteca de Catalunya will be screening a retrospective in tribute to Llorenç Soler, who will receive a festival prize for his trajectory committed to Human Rights. The filmmaker and Ukrainian activist Oleg Sentsov will be one of the special guests of this edition.
