Kakarat is a Yle original series. YLe is Finland's national public broadcasting company. The series is directed by Juho Kuosmanen and Markus Lehmusruusu. Kakarat tells the story of a young Finnish couple who decides to leave to live in Barcelona. The script is by Terhi Arola and is produced by Essi Tuukkanen and Teea Hyytiä / Zodiak Finland. Luis Montalvo, Jordi Utset and Ainara Trigueros of Fresco Film are responsible for the service in Barcelona.
