DOCSBARCELONA 2019 presents its programming

There will be 41 documentaries from 26 countries

DOCSBARCELONA has presented the titles that will be part of its 22nd edition, a sample of the best of the world production of documentaries. On May 15th the festival will start amb Aquarela, by Victor Kossakovsky, a visually spectacular journey through the transforming beauty and the omnipotent power of water. On May 25th, the festival will close with the screening of El Pepe, a supreme life, where the filmmaker Emir Kusturica portrays the former president of Uruguay Pepe Mujica, one of the most important world political figures of recent decades. For eleven days, the festival will offer a wide range of stylistic and thematic in the Catalan capital, with works that reflect on politics, feminism, nature or gentrification. Thanks to the collaboration with the Diputación de Barcelona, will also reach 12 municipalities in its province.
