This month begins the 27ª Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones

Latin American women documentalists has the collaboration of Casa América.
This year the Mostra begins its program in February with three looks on the current Latin America. The program of this fifth edition is an invitation to reflect on the implication of documentary film in some realities, spaces and Latin American societies.
On February 15th you will see Las Cinéphilas by María Álvarez with the observation of the "virtual" community of retired women passionate about cinema, on February 22nd El ultimo páis of Gretel Marín with the personal introspection of the director as a result of her return to Cuba and March 1st Tierra sola by Tiziana Panizza, with its unusual look on the geographical and historical landscape of an isolated territory both geographically and iconographically.
The Mostra can be seen on February 15th and 22nd and March 1st, 2019 at 20:00 in the Girona cinemas.
