A new list has been created with the top 20 most filmed locations around the world in the past 20 years. The list, made by the website GoCompare, compare more than 340.000 films shot all over the world using data compiled from IMDb. According to the results, Central Park in New York is the top spot location, but the list includes also top countries and areas. Barcelona is the number seven most popular area with 660 films and TV series located in our city. With 3.630 films and TV shows shot, Manhattan tops the "area" category followed by Hollywood, California (3.262), and Brooklyn (2.608).
