The Barcelona Film Commission, at Clermont-Ferrand and the Berlinale

02/26/2016

In February, the BFC has traveled to Clermont-Ferrand and Berlin to attend several meetings with the professional sector.

Barcelona Film Commission has taken part in the anual assembly Short Film Conference in Clermont-Ferrand. It is an international organization made up of festivals, producers and distributors of short films. This meeting has existed since 1970 as a non-profit organization that encourages the promotion of the best short films. It is the only international organization in the world that brings together the whole community of film. We also had the opportunity to attend the morning sessions called Expresso, to hear the filmmakers selected in official competitions. We have taken part at some of the Industry Focus sessions, such as Canal+ España.

Within the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival, we co-organized the reception of the EUFCN-European Film Commissions Network, which took place in the building of the Berlin Brandenburg Land. In addition, we participated at the European Film Market.
