Simón, a famous jazz trumpet musician, begins to suffer from severe stage fright and embarks on a journey to his hometown. When an adolescent girl is accidentally hit by a car, he gets to know the patients at a centre for the mentally handicapped and their caretaker. This experience will enable him to rediscover the pleasure of life and overcome the anguish of his wife’s death.
