The Catalan Film Academy has opened the call for the IX edition of the Pepón Coromina Award, designed to recognize risk, innovation, and creativity in honor and recognition of the work of the producer Pepón Coromina.

Works, actions, or initiatives linked to Catalan audiovisual production premiered, broadcast, or presented during 2021 can opt for the award. Contributions of Catalan talent to audiovisual works or actions presented during 2021 in Catalonia or anywhere in the world can opt, too. Trajectories or permanent initiatives over time (for example, a festival, a platform, etc.) linked to Catalan film production can opt, too. The films or professionals awarded in the edition of the XIV Gaudí Awards cannot participate in the call.
