Square

Medieval origin square that belongs to the 11th century walled enclosure with a trapezoidal shape with an opening for the smaller side. The square has a slight slope and has a small flight of stairs on the side that accesses the Pedregal Street.

In the same square it’s also located the Chapel of San Ignasi Malalt (originally house of the Amigant family), in which, during his stay in Manresa, San Ignacio, he was welcomed at a time when he was sick. The space was converted into a chapel, inaugurated in 1703 and renovated in 1778. Building recognized as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest was deeply rehabilitated in 2015.
