On 2004 the Worls Rowing Championship was celebrated in Banyoles, and a race finish area was built. The architects Josep Cargol and Ricard Turon design a vegetal grandstand and an overlook used as a tower for the referees. The grandstand was built  in a three colored stones perfecty integrated into the natural environement. The wooden overlook remind the nordic construction style, minimalist and respectful with the nature.
