Rabbit Lane is an architecturally-striking house, nestled at the foot of the Parc de Collserola, a huge forest of oak and pine just outside Barcelona.
Built in the 30s and modernised recently by recognised local architect Luis Perez de Vega, the house provides views to the forest on all sides and allows natural light to flood the spaces. It uses slate taken directly from the site as a signature material.
From its position elevated above street level, there are abondant views of the local landscape and on to Tibidabo and the Collserola Tower.
The house has 230sqm of usable space, split between 2 levels. All spaces have large sliding doors opening out onto terrace area.
Outside there is ample hard-paved terrace area, lawn area, a chillout, a swimming pool and a private forest area. From the flat roof, the house boasts wonderful views of the forest behind and the local landscape.
The elevated position of the house from the road allows privacy. The road below is very quiet, with ample parking for cars, vans and trucks.
