Platja Gran beach is 2,162 metres long and 56 metres wide. It is located in the centre of Platja d'Aro and has parking facilities close to the town centre and at the south end of the beach. This stretch, which is very busy in summer, has all the necessary services and two beach bars. The Passeig Marítim (promenade) runs along almost the entire coastline of the town and offers several bars and restaurants.
