Montserrat Roig square is a 3,000 m² space located at the intersection of Francesc Macià Avenue and Josep Martorell and Safareig streets, in the Riu Nord neighborhood. Among palms and other trees, the statue of a girl reading sits in a blue tile rectangular bench that surrounds the ancient public laundry remains, in a lower level and visible thanks to a crystal panel. The space is dedicated to the Catalan female writer Montserrat Roig i Fransitorra.
