The Mora tower is located on the beach of Pals, it was built in the 15th century as a lookout point to control the coast of the attacks of Turkish and Berber pirates, very frequent throughout the Mediterranean. It is a cylindrical tower with two floors and a height of approximately 10 meters is preserved. It is made of irregular stone and mortar. The door is mid-height and was accessed through a ladder. Near the tower are the remains of some shelter constructions for boats and fishermen. Around the tower there is a pine forest with tables and wooden benches for picnics, as well as public toilets and parking.
