At the Maragall square is placed the Civic Centre, the headquarters of the EMD Bellaterra. In the middle of the square there is the monument to the squirrel, the symbol of Bellaterra, designed by Joan Ramon Codinach and built by the sculptor Emili Colom. At the roundabout of the square links the streets Joan Fabregas, Balmes and Miquel Servet.
