The town's main square, together with the portico, is the entrance to the Gothic enclosure of Pals. The Portal communicates the Plaza Major with the Church and the old castle through the Major street. In the keystone of the gate we will see the town's coat of arms carved together with the year 1744 in relief. The jambs and the holes for the bars of the old door are preserved
