Les Casas de Matamargó is a farmhouse located in the centre of Catalonia (Solsonès). The house was built between the 13th and 16th centuries. It is surrounded by other historic buildings (a bastion, a chapel with a baroque altar, a cellar...).
At present, the estate conserves all its historic elements.
Les Casas de Matamargó is like a small private town. The farm includes the paternal house, which contains all the rooms where the Casas family has lived for centuries. Around the farmhouse there are cobbled streets, squares, gardens and other houses where the maids, farm workers, etc. lived.
