In some barren hills, geological witnesses of the tertiary period that give personality to the current landscape, we placed Robert Capa on November 7, 1938 to document the Republican offensive in the Spanish Civil War. The Sierra Brisa de Aitona is an important historical site. During the Spanish Civil War, the mountain range was the scene of several battles. It has a length of about 10 kilometers and a maximum height of 646 meters. It is formed by calcareous rocks and part of it is covered by forest.
