Espai La Bayka is an artistic creation workshop dedicated to promote puppet and object theatre.
It is located in the neighborhood of Santa Eulàlia within the cultural district of the municipality of Hospitalet de Llobregat. The building built at the beginning of the last century is divided into residential flats and a side nave, where the creation space is located. It is an open space, with high ceilings with wooden beams and brick walls, as well as a loft built with Oregon pine. This place was, during the first half of the 20th century, part of the network of the textile industry in Hospitalet, serving as a warehouse and industrial workshop. It got close for many years until in 2018 when the artists Aleksandra Muchin and Mauricio Riobó restored the place, transforming it into the artistic space that it is today.

The main hall is 11 meters long and 5.20 meters wide. In total, the local has approximately 140 m2, plus a patio with a garden of 20 m2. The entrance and side corridor of this space has 4 workshops, one of which can be used as a dressing room. It also has two bathrooms, a kitchen and internet.
La Bayka is a versatile place, capable to transform itself from a design and crafts workshop, into a rehearsal room, a space to present theater shows and different artistic activities.
