The castle dates back to the 16th century, although in the 10th century there was already a church within this building. It was built over Iberian and Roman ruins. In 1897, Manuel Girona bought and restored the castle. Finally, in 1988 Castelldefels Town Hall bought it and began the process of restoring it until the present day.
Currently you can visit: the Church of Santa María, the Army courtyard, the stables, the Noble room, the Fencing room, the Rooftop terrace and de Castle Gardens.
