Juvinyà Castle or “fortified manor house” in Sant Joan les Fonts is a prime example of medieval civil architecture in Garrotxa County. The castle dates from the 12^th-14^th centuries and was originally the residence of the Juvinyà dynasty of medieval knights.

Now in the Juvinyà castle you can see a permanent exhibition about the history of the monument, the family of Juvinyà knights and a small arqueological exhibition about the prehistorical humans in our village.
