Borredà was created around the parish church of Santa Maria, establishing the old town.
The current structure was consolidated in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Plaça Major and the Placeta are delimited.
Of note is the stone reconstruction of the facades of almost all the houses in this old town, as well as the stone preservation of the streets
