After being closed to the public for more than 100 years, Casa de les Punxes opened its doors last summer 2016. Declared a historical monument of national interest in 1975, Casa de les Punxes is one of the most emblematic buildings in Barcelona.

Built by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch for the Terradas family, it is located in the heart of the art nouveau area of Barcelona. Immerse yourself in the history of Casa de les Punxes, soak up the medieval and Wagnerian atmosphere that inspired the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch in its design. Discover all the hidden secrets, the symbolism of this building and the legend of Sant Jordi.

Be blinded by its ceramics, stained glass windows, ironwork, paintings and sculptural elements presents on the façade of the house. Some of them elaborated by Enric Alfons Monserdà and Alfons Juyol, wellknown artisans of the catalan modernism. The rooftop, the most majestic part of the house, is dedicated to the architect and those artists who collaborated on the building, offering to them their well-deserved recognition.
