Casa Bustins stands on a hill on the outskirts of Platja d'Aro on a 1.5 ha plot. The Bustins family bought the agricultural land of vineyards and olive trees from the Nadal-Oller family of the cork industry in Cassà de la Selva in 1975. A chalet with a modern and groundbreaking architecture was built in the Emporda landscape by architect Vincenzo Carmenati. The arches and angles of the building evoke Art Deco design.

The interior has a lot of natural light, designed with many planters of a height that will allow the planting of trees inside. The diaphanous space distributed over 3 levels of 250 m2 each allowed the design of unique spaces in the home such as a disco or an indoor swimming pool. Carmenati's design was completed with Jaime Tresserra's, which is still very visible in most of the house.

The chalet's completion date was 1979 and, at present, it remains preserved, maintaining the original design. The landscaped environment with the outdoor swimming pool occupies an approximate area of 5,000 m2 and 1 ha of cleared forest where the terraces of vineyards, a quarry and the presence of some specimens of olive trees and cork oaks can still be seen.
