Tomás Pladevall is an admired cinematographer, a master of light who seeks to recover his personal archive in order to transfer it to the Filmoteca, where he trusts it will be preserved. But the first of his films, Robin Hood Never Dies, is lost.

Closing the last box is difficult. With meticulousness and rigour, he completes and nurtures his legacy, but simultaneously the irrepressible impulse for new experiments causes new folders to be opened.

Retired from the profession, Tomàs Pladevall cannot help but continue playing with light and shadows, shooting during the solstices or seeking to find secrets in old films as if he were an alchemist, a magician.
