Description:

Nanouk Films was born in 2002 with the aim of producing cinematic content with a personal and subjective view of reality, often in the form of documentaries or art-house cinema. In both fiction and documentary, Nanouk's films have been selected and awarded on numerous occasions at festivals such as Sundance, Locarno, IDFA, Hot Docs, Málaga, or Donosti. Notable achievements include the Grand Jury Prize at Locarno for "Dead Slow Ahead," the International Critics' Award for "Bugarach," and the Gaudí Award for Best Documentary for "Alcaldesa." At Nanouk Films, they continue to take risks by supporting emerging talent, exploring new perspectives—whether in terms of gender, race, socioeconomic status, or other political viewpoints from a humanistic perspective—and embracing innovative formats within the realm of cinema.
