Description:

Clack is an audiovisual production company based in Mataró that was born with a special sensitivity towards the field of Social Sciences, with historical memory, the gender perspective and culture being its main editorial axes. The aim of this production company is to develop fiction and documentary content based on local pretexts but with global projection.

Thus, in 2012, opening a policy of internationalization, he carried out his first co-production with South America, specifically with Ecuador, through the documentary Camí a la meta that, broadcast on TV3 and which featured the support of the Ibermedia program. A line of work that followed in 2017 with the broadcast of the documentary Polifonia Basca, on Señal Colombia, which earned it its selection at the Belfast Film Festival, and in 2020 with the production of the feature-length cinematic documentary L’última cinta des de Bòsnia -co-produced with Minimal Films and directed by Albert Solé-, premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival, winner of the 2021 Grand Prix of the Mediteran festival in Siroki Brigej (Bosnia) and of ValenciaDocs for best Spanish documentary of 2021 and which received nominations in five European festivals plus Poland, Romania and France.

Already in the field of fiction, Clack entered in 2021 as a minority co-producer on the film Chuzalongo, together with the production companies Domini Digital (Ecuador), AV Films (Peru) and Retrogusto Films (Canada). The project has received the second prize in the feature film category of the Sitges Pitchbox 2021 and a grant from Ibermedia for co-production.

La resistència íntima is the first fictional project of the production company, although it already worked with this language in the stage documentary project Peiró42 and the historical documentary Bon cop de falç. La història de l’himne. From an editorial point of view, this first film meets two of the editorial lines that Clack has worked on in recent years in the form of documentaries: the genre vision -Les Resilients- and the historical memory - L’última cinta des de Bòsnia, Protestants. La història silenciada or Polifonia Basca-.
