The Associació de Muntadores i Muntadors Audiovisuals de Catalunya (AMMAC) is a non-profit association that brings together all the editors, editors, assistants and editing assistants from the different audiovisual sectors –fiction, documentary, entertainment, advertising and XXSS – in Catalonia.

AMMAC was born in 2018 as a result of the restlessness of a group of assemblers to organize themselves as a collective. They pursue two main objectives: first, to disseminate and represent the assembly profession; second, join forces among assembly professionals to address the challenges and problems of this profession. Another objective is to promote gender parity within the sector.

Joining AMMAC means enriching yourself with the group. For this reason, we invite all members to participate in the actions of the association, to make it known among colleagues in the profession and to mention AMMAC in the credits of productions.
