Capdella is the highest village in La Vall Fosca (1,420 m).  Overlooking the village, you’ll find the Romanesque church of Sant Vicenç (11th century) declared Cultural Heritage of National Interest in 2008.

In Capdella, you can start several trekking routes such as Port de Rus,  the glacial valley of the river Riqüerna Agüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, or the one ascending to the cable car, or the path to the water reservoir that connects with the Carrilet (abandoned railway), which  takes up to the Montsent de Pallars (2,883 m), among many others.
