Despite the abrupt nature of much of the coast of Ametlla de Mar, north of the fishing village there are an abundant of sandy coves, such as the Calafat beach, Calafató and the Ribellet Cove. It is 25 m wide by 130 m long. “Lo Ribellet" cove is accessible by car and foot. It has a shower and is cleaned daily. It’s sand.
