Second round from October 9 to December 12

The Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, ​​through the Barcelona Film Commission, wants to stimulate and consolidate the diffusion of the cinematography made, shot or produced in Barcelona. And make it known to the public.

This is the will of Pantalla Barcelona. A program that brings the recent cinema made in the city to the different districts of Barcelona through the screens, on this occasion, of four civic centers and three cinemas. Next October 10th the inauguration will be held at the Auditori Sant Martí (Angeleta Ferrer Square, 2) at 7 pm with the screening of the short Ahora no puedo by Roser Aguilar and Isabel Coixet's The Bookshop.

The cycle will begin on October 9th and end on December 12th, 2018. You will be able to see seven feature films and seven short films, with a total of 49 screenings. This second edition of the Pantalla Barcelona has a special link with film schools and audiovisual communication universities. In this new edition, the Gaudí-Circuit Estable de Cinema Català has also collaborated, with three of the films scheduled.

The programming will be rotating and can be seen in the seven participating spaces: Sant Martí Auditorium, Fort Pienc Civic Center, Can Clariana Cultural Civic Center, Casa Orlandai Cultural Center, Girona Cinemas, Maldà Cinema, and Zumzeig Cinema.
