Fourth round from October 9th to December 12th

The Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, ​​through the Barcelona Film Commission, wants to stimulate and consolidate the diffusion of the cinematography made, shot or produced in Barcelona. And make it known to the public.

This is the will of Pantalla Barcelona. A program that brings the cinema made with talent of our city to the different districts of Barcelona through the screens, on this occasion, of seven civic centers: Can Basté, Pati Llimona, Can Clariana Cultural, Casa Groga, La Sagrera “La Barraca”, Can Felipa i Ateneu Fort Pienc. Next October 3rd the inauguration will be held at the Ateneu Fort Pienc (Fort Pienc Square, 4) at 7:30 pm with the screening of the short Soleá: els néts dels altres catalans by Marc Hernández, Març Llinàs, Natàlia Morales, and Marta Vivet and the film feature Celia Rico’s Viaje al cuarto de una madre.

The cycle will begin on October 3rd and end on December 13th. You will be able to see nine feature films and eight short films, with a total of 33 screenings. In this fourth edition of the Pantalla Barcelona, we renewed the collaboration with the Acadèmia del Cinema and opened bonds of cooperation with the city's Film Festivals through the Catalunya Film Festivals. This time we had the participation of the following festivals: D'A Film Festival, L'Alternativa Independent Film Festival of Barcelona, El dia més curt, Inclús International Festival of Cinema and Disability of Barcelona and Mecal International Festival of Short Films and Animation from Barcelona. In this edition, we will also include the parallel activity The offices of cinema where women of the sector will show us the work from the inside. With this we want to make visible the presence of women in the world of cinema. The activity is coordinated by Dones Visuals.
