This movie for television is based on Margarita Melgar’s novel La mujer del siglo, she also writes the script. In the Barcelona of 1919, Consuelo, a young orphan, faces all kinds of prejudices while investigating whether she is the daughter of the famous painter Isidre Nonell and her gypsy muse. La dona del segle wants to pay homage to the emergence of feminism here. Produced by Distinto Films, it is a co-production with TV3, RTVE, Voramar Films and À Punt Mèdia, and has the support of the Department of Culture. The shooting will last five weeks and will take place in different locations, such as Argentona, Cerdanyola del Vallés, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, ​​Vilafranca del Penedès and El Garraf.
