Filming will begin on August 2 at the Modelo prison in Barcelona and will also shoot in various locations in the province of Seville. Director Alberto Rodríguez returns to the feature film after La Peste. Miguel Herrán and Javier Gutiérrez are the protagonists, two convicts imprisoned in the Modelo of Barcelona. The production is by Atípica Films and Movistar +, and inspired by a true story. The film will be released in cinemas and later on Movistar +.

A young accountant who is incarcerated and awaiting trial for embezzlement faces a possible penalty of between 10 and 20 years, a punishment disproportionate to the amount of his crime. But this is 1977 and, they are other times. And in the Modelo prison, the law of the strongest prevails. Despite having everything against him to obtain a pardon, the young man does not give up and joins a group of common prisoners who are organizing to demand an amnesty. If things are changing outside, they will also have to change inside. It is the germ of COPEL, the Coordinator of Prisoners in Struggle.
