This magnificent long stretch along the riu Onyar was developed in the 13th century to hold the market and is characterised by its low-ceilinged arcades and unequal arches. It has long been the main commercial and entertainment centre of Girona and contains many interesting buildings, such as Casa Norat, with its Modernist façade (1912). Located in the Old Town.
