The feature film starring Zoe Bonafonte, Miquel Melero, Marc Soler, the singer Ruslana, and Omar Banana, was filmed for six weeks in the city. A fuego is the first feature film by director Estel Díaz, who also wrote the script together with Núria Dunjó.

A fuego is a story about friendship, the "chosen family", love, and youth marked by dancing and freedom. The plot takes us to "the Bunker", a place where they attend clandestine parties and dance competitions, where there are no limits: only fun, rhythm, and disinhibition. The film features an urban-style musical selection and choreography by Anna Macau that the actors have been rehearsing.

The film is a production of Atresmedia Cine, Sábado Películas, Playtime Movies, Ha Vuelto La Película AIE, and A Contracorriente Films, with the participation of Atresmedia and Netflix.
