Molí Fondo is an old paper factory. Its history is linked to the life of the people of Sant Joan les Fonts.  We find the origin of this paper mill in 1723. The most important transformation was in 1841, when Pere Capdevila bought the mill. He did a big reform at the factory and introducing the paper machine for the industrial production.

Now inside you can see a permanent exhibition about the history of the factory.  Molí Fondo is an important example of industrial heritage in la Garrotxa.
