El Prat de Llobregat

El Prat de Llobregat lies on the plains of the Llobregat Delta. Here, river, sea, beaches, pine woods, lagoons and wetlands, with all the wealth of flora and fauna such diversity naturally generates, live side-by-side with the marks left by the social and urban transformation that has taken place in the area over the years. Nowadays, El Prat is a modern, balanced, hospitable town. Since Ventura Pons made his film 'Anita Takes a Chance' here, El Prat has provided ideal settings for many productions, hugely varying in terms of both theme and location. These include the Catalan director Jaime Rosales' film 'The Hours of the Day' and the North American Brad Anderson's documentary 'The Machinist'. El Prat also regularly serves as the scene for photographic shoots, advertisements, music videos and much more.

El Prat, which is easily accessible by road, rail, sea or air (the international airport is just minutes away), offers unbeatable facilities for any shoot, including: assistance from Council personnel; a huge catalogue of locations in public spaces; and quick and easy formalities to obtain shoot permits. Production companies interested in filming in El Prat de Llobregat should contact the local authority Press and Communication Department.
