The region of Maresme, with 398.5 km2 of surface, is located in the east of the country. It extends through a narrow and elongated strip of territory between the Coastal Range and the coast; mountain and sea, a territory identified with green and blue that enjoys a privileged climate.

The objective of the Maresme Film Commission is to promote and facilitate filming in the territory in order to stimulate and consolidate the film and audiovisual industry and boost the economic sectors of the region. In this way, the Maresme Film Commission aims to enhance the audiovisual and make the Maresme a real set.
