Wednesday, December 12th, was the last session of our Pantalla Barcelona. For seven weeks from October 9th until December, we have offered you seven films and seven shorts in seven civic centers and independent movie theaters in the city of Barcelona: Auditori de Sant Martí, Center Civic Fort Pienc, Center Cívic Can Clariana Cultural, Casa Orlandai Cultural Center, Cinemes Girona, Cinema Maldà and Zumzeig Cinema. The Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, ​​through the Barcelona Film Commission and Pantalla Barcelona, wants to stimulate and consolidate the diffusion of the cinematography made, shot or produced in Barcelona and make it known to the public.

In these weeks we have seen sessions where we have had members of the film teams, we have made presentations, discussions and we have approached the neighborhoods. We opened with the short film Ahora no puedo by Roser Aguilar and Isabel Coixet's The bookstore at the Auditori de Sant Martí. We have had several sessions dedicated to women filmmakers such as Les bones nenes by Clara Roquet and Tots volem el millor per a ella by Mar Coll or Los desheredados by Laura Ferrés that we have seen together with Tots els camins de Déu by Gemma Ferraté. Other projections were Celebració by Pau Cruanyes and Gerard Vidal along with Bugarach of Ventura Durall, Salvador Sunyer and Sergi Cameron; Notes from sometime, later, maybe by Roger Gómez and Dani Resinas and Tierra Firme by Carlos Marqués-Marcet and Mot de passe: Fajara by Séverine Sajous and Patricia Sánchez Mora with Transeúntes by Luis Aller.

The screening of Godka Cirka by Àlex Lora and Antoni Tabaldi together with La piel fría by Xavier Gens have closed Pantalla Barcelona at the Auditori de Sant Martí. This edition has also had the collaboration of the Gaudí Cycle, which has selected three of the participating films. Thank you very much to all those who have made Pantalla Barcelona possible, especially to the spectators who have accompanied us during these weeks of cinema.
