WARNING: During the summer season (June 1 to September 30) filming on the beaches are limited to weekdays and from 7am to 10am or 7pm to 10pm.

It is approximately 420 metres long and, together with Mar Bella beach, is one of the beaches that emerged from the redevelopment of the Barcelona seafront, carried out in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics.

Nova Mar Bella beach belongs to the Sant Martí district and it is mostly used by residents from this area. It is considered one of quietest in the city.

This beach also has a volleyball court located halfway along.You can easily reach Nova Mar Bella beach on public transport: by Metro (line L4, Selva de Mar and El Maresme / Forum); by bus (lines 36, 43 and 141); and by tram (line T4 stops at Selva de Mar and Maresme). Cyclists can use the cycle lane on the seafront promenade or the four Bicing stations located near the beach (Passeig Marítim de la Mar Bella, Passeig de Garcia Fària 37 / Josep Ferrater, Passeig del Taulat 188 and Passeig del Taulat, 238).

Nova Mar Bella beach provides easy access and enjoyment for everyone, with special attention paid to those whose mobility is limited in some way: it features parking areas from which it is easy to reach the dry beach, visual and tactile signage and information, adapted toilets, wooden walkways down to the water and adapted showers with chairs. The public transport has also been adapted to provide easier access.
