Laia studies law at the University of Barcelona. She works in the mornings in the university library to pay for her studies, and composes songs in her free time. She is dating Ignasi, a morning student committed to the underground struggle against the Franco regime.

Laia's problem is that she can’t stand David, Ignasi's best friend. However, she will discover that he is not who he seems to be. Under the appearance of a superficial son of a good family, is the author of the brilliant vindictive speeches of Ignasi and someone sensitive who is interested in Laia's promising career as a singer.
